Hair Stylist Wanted for our Bideford Hair Salon
Well, what a fantastic start since we’ve been back! It’s been manic in the salon, with back to back appointments for hair all throughout April as well as so many appointments for beauty treatments and non surgical treatments too. We’ve absolutely loved being back, seeing all our lovely clients again and getting back to what we do best, transforming our clients looks.
However, one thing we still desperately need now is an incredible hair stylist to come and join our team. We’re hiring for either a full time role of two part time ones, as at the moment it’s only Michaela and Emma who are manning all hair appointments across the week which is causing appointments to be pushed back for clients. Skills and Qualifications for our Hair Stylist Job Vacancy
As we’ve worked so hard since we started out nearly 5 years ago in building up our reputation for offering quality, finding the right stylist who has the skills and right personality to join our weird and wonderful team is absolutely paramount for us. Our clients have come to grow and love the level of care and attention we give them at every appointment so it’s really important that we find someone who will be able to blend in and offer this same level of service for every treatment.
So, what we’re looking for in our next stylist is…
- 5 years of experience
- All relevant qualifications
- A clientele base (salon clientele waiting as well)
- To be a team player
- Super passionate about hair
This is all negotiable for the right person though, so please still get in touch if for example you’ve got slightly less than 5 years or if you don’t have much of a clientele base already. We’d still love to hear from you and have a chat to see if you’d be right for the role.

We also understand that due to COVID there is a lot more uncertainty for employees with furloughs and redundancies, but this is very much a long term, fixed position and that we’re in a privileged position to have clients ready and waiting for you!
Out of Hours Diary for Hair Appointments in Bideford
Whilst we’re waiting for our next perfect stylist to join, we have set up an out of hours diary to help clients who have been struggling with getting appointments due to how busy Michaela and Emma are.
So if you haven’t been able to get the appointment you wanted, or if you want to bring your current appointment forward as you couldn’t get the date you want, we’re offering you the chance to book early morning or late evening. That’s how much we love our clients!
The out of hours diary runs officially from 6.30am - 9.30am from Monday - Saturday and from 6.30pm until midnight Monday - Saturday (this excludes Thursday evenings though, as the salon is already open until late). There is a small overtime charge for these appointments which we’re requesting which is £15 for a wash/cut/style and £40 for a colour appointment.
