New Relaxation Spa Lounge Coming to Bideford!

Big news coming from the salon… we’re finally planning to open our new relaxation spa lounge on the provisional date of 8th June (this could be subject to change)! This has been in the works for quite a while for us now, as adding a spa lounge to the salon was always part of the plan when we opened the salon doors nearly 5 years ago. We have a room towards the back of the salon which we’re currently getting ready for (can you believe our space is that big??), and in the coming weeks we’ll be putting together new furniture and equipment for it. The relaxation spa lounge will be the perfect addition to our growing beauty treatments, creating a one stop shop for our clients needs, where you can get a facial and then spend 20 minutes in a sauna winding down and leaving your appointment feeling like you’ve been on a cloud in the sky without a care in the world. Personally, we’ve always felt like it was something Bideford really needed and we couldn’t be more excited to finally be able to put this into practice now we’re in a position to do so.

So the first big question that will be on everyone’s lips… what will the new relaxation spa lounge offer? In the lounge, we plan to have a sauna, a comfortable rattan day bed as well as an egg chair so it’s a space you can slip into effortlessly and no matter where you are you’ll feel comfortable, at ease and most of all relaxed. We’ll also make sure there are plenty of your favourite salon beauty bits and pieces around as well as magazines to help you sink away with some gossip!

So first things first, the spa will need to be booked and it won’t be available to use unless you have an appointment. We’re planning to put together spa packages where you’ll have a choice of different treatments to accompany your spa time such as massages, facials, body wraps as well as many of your other favourites too. More details to come on these very soon!

As well as this we’re also planning to run Spa Pamper Days, where you and a selected number of people can book for a pamper day together. We’re going to start by offering the spa days to groups of 1, 2, 3 and 4 to ensure we’ll be complying with the latest COVID guidance and when restrictions are eased further we will be able to offer lunches and other goodies for these spa days too. Perfect for a girls day out, a couples treat or even just some time for you to get away and forget about the world.

If all that isn’t enough, we’re also going to be offering 20 minutes spa time with beauty appointments for our massage treatments, body wrap treatments, facials and other beauty treatments too - where else in Bideford could you have a relaxing massage and then slip into a 10 minute sauna sesh? Absolutely can’t wait for it to be ready and for the June opening to roll around!

Booking will be essential for the new spa lounge, whether that’s exclusive spa time, one of the packages or for one of our group days. Don’t forget there’s also free spa time included in regular treatments you book too!
