New Non-Surgical Treatments Launch at The BB Clinic in Bideford

We’re back with some more amazing news! We’ve written in our previous blogs and on social media about the new treatments our incredible Lisa has been training in some amazing new non-surgical treatments to expand our range of services. The new treatments add to our already popular CACI maintenance treatments and Lipo Cavitation treatments and give you more choices over treatments which can have huge benefits. In our latest expert corner addition, we’re going to let you know exactly what treatments you can now book for with Lisa in The BB Clinic and how they can help you.

First up we’re introducing Dermaplaning to The BB Clinic! If you’re not familiar with it, Dermaplaning is a skin treatment that uses a specialised blade - similar to a scalpel called a dermatome - to remove dead skin and hairs. The procedure aims to give facial skin a smooth, youthful and radiant appearance. As well as smoothing skin and removing “peach fuzz”, proponents claim that Dermaplaning can help with acne scars, dry skin, sun-damaged sun and small wrinkles. The perfect treatment to give your face a smooth look and feel and remove any toxins on the surface which are holding back your natural beauty.

A Chemical Skin Peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial skin is mostly treated and scarring can be improved. Chemical peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin. The resulting wound healing processes begin to regenerate new tissues. The dead skin eventually peels off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. Chemical peels can be applied on the face, neck or hands and can be used to reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, treat wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging and treat types of acne.
